What is Kinship through Rice?

If research is about knowing, this work is about making.

Supported by the British Council’s ‘Connections through Culture’ (CTC), Kinship through Rice bridges traditional Indonesian rice farming wisdom with regenerative design through collaboration across UK and Indonesia. We focus on global artisanal practices, making kinship across species and cultures.

This is cultural infrastructure for regenerative futures: living relationships that generate economic opportunities, address climate challenges, and create lasting intercultural connections.
